Some assembly required...

As a follow-up to our post on built-ins, we wanted to share an alternative to pricey custom built-ins. This DIY wall grid system can be easily constructed around the storage bins of your choosing using materials from your local building supply store. This is also a perfect design for smaller rooms where square footage for furniture is at a premium.

Definitely something to add to the “honey do”!

Where you'd least expect it...

We've been consulting with a client about custom built-ins in their family room and discovered how easy it is to get lost in the possibilities. Custom built-ins can acheive maximum storage results since you have the ability to assign a specific task to every nook & cranny. The room below perfectly demonstrates how a commonly wasted space can be transformed into a functional retreat for your family. Steep slopping ceiling? Problem solved!

Another genius storage item that recently caught our eye is the Modern-Twist Pocket Pillow. "Inspired by a Japanese anemone box (which is traditionally used to ho family heirlooms), this handmade Pocket Pillow is a contemporary home accessory with a purpose. From afar it looks like a simple pillow, but a closer look and a tist of the lid reveals your secret stash". Available in fun patterns with an abstract elephant or modern squirrel motif, perfect for little ones; plus the clever, interactive design might entice them to stash clutter around their room!

Roll out...

We've noticed a new trend we like-y! A Coffee table on casters similar to the pics below, is a genius idea for family rooms. It provides a great industrial layer to the room and a mobility function perfect for instantly clearing a space for the following:

pillow forts
talent shows
cut throat games of charades
staged Rockband shows
cheerleading practice
etc. etc. etc.

Hootie who? what? where?

Before the crush of the holidays we attended a charity event sponsored by Knoll Kids and the wonderful kiddie product seller, Kid-O in support of Room to Grow, a favorite organization of bundle! We were WOWed by the simple genius of the Bilibo toy which was displayed and had to take one home with us. Available in a stylish rainbow of colors, we've included this simple play thing guaranteed to spur imagination in our first bundle: Gives a Hoot. The evening also inspired us to dedicate a portion of the proceeds from this bundle's sale to the very worthy efforts of Room to Grow.

So... browse the luxurious selection of Knoll Kids iconic furniture, keep Kid-O in mind for smart toys or gifts & help give our bundle a good home. We've done all the accessorizing for you - eco-conscious, perfect for a gender neutral nursery or playspace and ready to use next to the furniture you already own!

Keep on Truckin...

We've been on the road for days and just getting in the post-holiday swing of things. After precious family time, bundle hit the road for an Eastern Seaboard road trip to Baltimore, Charlotte, Charleston, Savannah & Jacksonville; gathering inspirations & experiences along the way. We are happy to be home but our wanderlust spirit is echoed in this Tween room modeled after the interior of a Rock band tour bus, complete with metallic silver walls with studded trim and overhead metal storage compartments.

Looking forward to seeing where the New Year will take us!

Seasons change, Styles change...

It's hard to imagine during this very chilly time of year that warmth will soon be back with Spring! Just like the Seasons, styles have a way of revisiting us in new & refreshed forms. We've whole-heartedly welcomed back wallpaper and all of it's innovative and funky reincarnations. While buried in a pile of presents needing wrapping we realized just like wallpaper swathes a room in a certain tone, gift wrap does the same depending on the color, style and texture of a pattern.

As we all prepare for a festive holiday season with our loved ones, we'd like to share this hip headboard made using wallpaper! Spotted on Ohdeedoh.com, this project can easily be changed with your mood or the season. Recently, we were ecstatic to uncover stacks & stacks of vintage hand printed wallpapers in one of our favorite home design stores. Check back with us in the New Year to see what we snagged and the adorable bundle we built around the beautifully crafted print.

Merry, Merry, Happy Happy from bundle design co.

bundle " Gives a Hoot"...

We are so excited for the debut of our first bundle that is up for sale starting TODAY!

Our mission is to create coordinated product groupings for those who want to “nest” on their own but want an original, creative & inspired plan from a design consultant for their nursery, children’s room or family multi-purpose room. Our “bundles” consist of collected accessories that work brilliantly next to any crib, changer, sofa or furniture piece you already own and
never appear matchy-matchy or straight from the box. We believe in each of the products in
this well edited grouping; most items are eco-friendly, promote creative play and are perfectly
suited to grow with your child - whether a boy or a girl!

"Gives a Hoot" is a perfect name for this bundle as it's environmentally responsible and a portion of the net profits will be donated to a very worthy organization - Room to Grow. Read more below about Room to Grow's mission below and see details on everything you get when you purchase this charming assortment.

The mission of Room to Grow is to enrich the lives of babies born in to poverty throughout their critical first three years of development. Room to Grow's program provides parents raising babies in poverty with one-on-one parenting support and essential baby items throughout their children's critical first three years of life. Parents expecting a baby are referred to Room to Grow by selected prenatal programs assisting low-income families. Upon their referral, parents visit Room to Grow’s warm and inviting space once every three months from just before the birth of the baby until their child turns three. During their one-on-one appointments with staff social workers, typically lasting two hours, parents receive developmental information, customized support, and all of the needed baby items to ensure a healthy and secure start for their child.

Besides the good karma you will receive for supporting one of bundle design co.’s favorite Charities, you are also receiving all of the amazing and unique items below:
